Welcome to PilotDocs. By using our app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Apple, the Apple logo, App Store, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. The use of the Apple logo and App Store badge on this site is for informational purposes only and does not imply any endorsement by Apple Inc.

Eligibility

PilotDocs is available for use by anyone. There are no age restrictions.

License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PilotDocs for your personal, non-commercial use.

User Content & Responsibility

• You may store sensitive documents and information (e.g., license numbers, passport and visa details, document attachments) in PilotDocs. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and store.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any authentication methods (Face ID, PIN).
• We use Face ID, PIN, and iOS Data Protection for security. We do our best to keep your data private, but we are not liable for any data loss, breach, or unauthorized access.

Free vs. Pro Features

PilotDocs Free: Includes unlimited document entries, expiration tracking, Face ID/PIN security, and offline access.

PilotDocs Pro: Adds document attachments (PDFs, images, photos), cloud sync across devices, and secure document sharing. Additional features may be added in future versions.

PilotDocs Pro Subscription

• Pricing: PilotDocs Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription. Pricing varies by region and is displayed in the App Store in your local currency.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account Settings at any time. Subscriptions purchased through Apple are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Cancellation: If you cancel, you will retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
• Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through the App Store. We do not process refunds directly.

Data Access After Subscription Ends

• If your Pro subscription ends or is cancelled, your document entries remain accessible in the free version.
• Document attachments (PDFs, images) will remain on your device but cannot be edited or added to.
• Cloud sync and sharing features will be disabled.

International Users & Local Laws

You are responsible for compliance with local laws, including data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). By using PilotDocs, you consent to the processing and storage of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

PilotDocs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any damages, data loss, or legal issues arising from your use of the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PilotDocs at any time for violation of these Terms.
