PilotDocs ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app and website.

Information We Collect

• We do not collect personal data or documents you store in the app. All document entries are stored locally on your device by default.
• If analytics or crash reports are added in the future, they will be used solely for app improvement and never sold or shared with third parties.

PilotDocs Pro Features

PilotDocs Pro subscribers gain access to:

• Document Attachments: PDF and image files you attach are stored locally on your device and, if enabled, synced via Apple iCloud.
• Cloud Sync: Uses Apple iCloud to sync your document entries and attachments across your devices. Your data is subject to Apple's privacy and security policies.
• Document Sharing: When you share documents, you control what is shared and with whom.

Data Security

• Your documents are protected by Face ID and PIN authentication using iOS Data Protection.
• Document entries are stored securely on your device using Apple's built-in security features.
• We do our best to keep your data secure, but cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.

Data Retention

• All data remains on your device and in your iCloud account (if Pro features are used) until you delete it.
• If you cancel your Pro subscription, your document attachments and cloud sync data remain accessible but will no longer sync to new devices.
• You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

Third-Party Services

PilotDocs uses Apple services (App Store, iCloud, In-App Purchases) which are governed by Apple's privacy policies. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

International Users & Local Regulations

If you are located in the European Union, United States, or other regions with data collection laws, you consent to the processing and storage of your information in accordance with this policy. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, to the best of our ability.

Children's Privacy

PilotDocs does not have any age restrictions and may be used by children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 14, and no personal data is collected by the app. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise app usage for minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
